Does Chick-fil-A Accept Google Pay Payments?

Chick-fil-A accepts Google Pay at most of its locations across the United States with this convenient payment option now widely available.

You can use GPay for payments in Chick-fil-A restaurants, drive-thrus, and through the official mobile app.

To pay using Google Pay, simply unlock your Android phone and hold it near the contactless payment terminal, then confirm the transaction with a tap.

Google Pay is not currently available for orders placed on the website or for catering orders, just like Apple Pay users.

Google Pay is supported at most Chick-fil-A locations across the United States.

While website orders are not supported, Chick-fil-A does accept the payment method for orders placed via the mobile app.

Customers can link their Google Pay account to the official app and use it to pay for mobile orders directly.

Once connected, you can choose your meal from the Chick-fil-A menu and select Google Pay when paying for the order.

How To Set Up Google Pay in the Chick-fil-A App

To set up Google Pay for use at Chick, follow these steps and you will be able to use your Android home to pay for orders.

1. Download the Google Wallet app from the Google Play Store (note: Google Pay is now Google Wallet)
2. Open the Google Wallet app and follow the setup instructions
3. Use your camera to scan a debit or credit card as a payment method, or manually enter your card details, and verify by following on-screen instructions
4. Set up a screen lock on your device if you wish
5. Ensure NFC is turned on
6. Set Google Wallet as your default payment app

You will now be able to use Google Pay in the Chick-fil-A app and at in-restaurant payment terminals. GPay is not available for website or catering orders.

Can I use Google Pay for Drive-Thru Orders?

Yes, you can use Google Pay for drive-thru orders. Most US locations accept GPay at the drive-thru, making your payment quick and convenient.

When you reach the payment window, simply inform the cashier you want to use Google Pay, then hold your smartphone near the contactless payment terminal.

Just make sure to check with your local Chick-fil-A, as payment options can occasionally vary by location.
